    Stepped boss and faces?

Hi, new to SolidCam... I've got a part that will get machined on all sides (this is typical of the parts I make). I read/watched some of the tutorials and got started, and think I know how to do most of it, but in my first op, I'm a bit stuck cutting two stepped portions of the part. Anybody willing to advise or add those features so I can see how its done? (SW2013)

My thinking of order of ops is:
    OPS1
    Face stock (got that)
    Mill pocket (got that)
    Drill holes (got that)
Face off the two bosses; top of part and right edge (stuck)
Profile the outer profile except the arc on right end (holding from the right side)

WIth the info for the above, I think I know how to finish up the rest (below)
    OPS2
Flip part over, holding from right side
    Face
    Cut pocket
Cut end profile (leaving a tab)
    OPS3
    Cut the slots

Maybe try profiling strategy as per the attached for facing the boss/tabs.

So it worked fine to just create new geometry (thanks), but theres no way to just treat the part as a projection and cut the outline? Seems silly to have to create new geometry, though that works fine.

    Thx
