In the wincnc.ini file, in the axisspec group, what does the F# do? Is it relative only to the accel? or does it limit the feed rate on that axis? or does it do something else?

Hi seancomp,
Yes, the F# on the axisspec= line deals strictly with feed acceleration. Without it the A# handles all acceleration on that axis. With it, you can have a faster acceleration for rapid moves and a softer acceleration for feed.

Good to know. Thanks for the reply
You're welcome. What type of machine do you use?

Shopsabre 4896 with atc and servo. I've been having a problem with inaccurate cuts for some small parts we are trying to make. I figured I would try adjusting the accel and see if this helps the accuracy. I've ran into the inaccuracy problems before and changing the accel helped then, but changing the accel slows down my daily production so much, I couldn't change it permanently.
