Hello total newbie with little experience, looking at purchasing a lathe. I like to do things right the first time instead of reselling and making upgrades any advice or should I find something bigger like South Bend 10? I am into cars, motorcycle, home project so I might on the large size turn something down smaller then 3" but mainly work with 1" or smaller in steel or aluminium. I would like to offer my service a little on Craigslist for people how need something done to help pay for machine
