    Lathe Setup Guru's in Albuquerque

    Hi all

Just got a new lathe last week, and am looking for a kind soul in Albuquerque to help me get it setup right.
I have it running, but am having a hard time getting it to cut straight. I am sure it is a leveling problem, but it is a hobby machine and I have no precision level. Everytime I move the tailstock I have to redial it in so I do not cut a taper. It is a 11x27 Precision Mathews. It seems to be a really nice lathe for the money and I am sure it can be worked out, just need a little help.

If anyone would like to help me I would appreciate it very much! Let me know.
