Thread: New DNC system, purchase decision

    Hello

    We lost our antique DNC system because of PC damage and finally we’re ready to buy something new. But what?

    We’ve got 2 special machines that can’t directly access the file system. One of them with 840D (RJ45) and another one with an old 880M (RS232). Every workplace has its own PC where the DNC system should run.

    What DNC system would you advice?

    We’ve recently installed the system from the company COSCOM.
    I would recommend it.

    Hello Incubus

    Do the both special machines have to be bound to the machine via the workplace or are there any more machines?

    Are you going to administrate the NC-programs via the file system or do you need a database?
