Hello all

we have just got a new lathe in the shop with the fagor 8055i. All the other lathes have a fanuc control on them, so all my programes have been posted from mastercam V8.

So I would like to get the proper post for the fagor control so I can just re-post my programes and run them.

I have been using the fanuc post and just editing them then using cimco editor to save as a .pit file.

It would be nice to be able to post it and not have to do a bunch of editing.

If anyone has a copy that they are willing to shair that would be grate.

and there are many others. I just searched for "mastercam 8 fagor" and got pages of hits.

Also, most CAM software companies will write you a post processor for whatever machine you need (if they don't already have it available on their website). You might have to send them a copy of the programming manual for the control you have. I know its true for the two that I use (SheetCAM and BobCAD-CAM). Check with MasterCAM (or maybe you already have) - if not, it appears that the process all starts here:
