    Stepper Motor 28bbyj-48 Equivalent

    Hi

    Been experimenting with a 28byj-48 and would now like to test an equivalent motor to compare, but with a few more revs available and some more torque. Size can be no larger than the 28byj-48, say max of 20mm depth between front with shaft to the back plate. Other dimensions I can probably get away with. voltage up to 12 vdc

    Hi,
    I use these:

    They are rated to 12V or 240mA, but I find they run too hot at 240 mA but quite OK at 120mA.
