    Mirrors on HX3040

We have finally set up our Rabbit HX3040 laser cutter pretty well. On looking at the state of the mirrors and lens, it looks like the previous owner has been cleaning them with a scouring pad! What are our options for replacing or renovating our mirrors and lens?

    Hi ,

If the surface of the lens and mirror is dirty , you can think about replacing the new .
what the material ,diameter ,and focal length of the co2 laser focus lens ? and also the mirror diameter and material ?

i can supply with you ,if you need .

Folks in the past have had luck using old hard drive platters as mirror stock. Some folks report that they get a diffraction grating-ish effect as a result of the pits and tracks on the platters, but YMMV. I think it's worth a try if you've got a dead drive kicking about.

    Cheers!
