We have a tree 1050 with start up issues. We had the machine sitting with the spindle running, went to wash hands came back and the machine was shut down. Power was still on but controller was off. Hit the start button controller came back up hit the start button to enable the drives and the contactor stutters and shuts down the controller. Turned back on same result, turned back on got z axis error, check the z axis drive determined it was bad sent for repair. Got the drive back installed no z axis error but still have issue with contactor stuttering and shutting down the controller. Let the machine sit a while now power up machine, turn on the controller, hit start to enable the drives and machine trips main breaker.

All I can say is HELP!!

Well, it took a while but we finally figured it out. The Y-axis servo drive had a bad transistor pack in it. $60 bucks later and it should be good to go.
