Hi, It's really about material choice I'm asking for advice about.

As per the attached picture, I had this cut in the UK for £50 quid. Now as a prototype of 2pcs of 3mm cast acrylic sandwiched together to get me 6mm thickness required, I understand the low volume - high cost of parts, its all in the setup which equals time.

The problem I have is, I would like to make maybe 40 or 50 sets of these things, for a custom bit of arty display electronics I'm woking on for myself. The cost of that would be prohibitive and given the slight warpage seen, I may not get CNC / laser cut accuracy expected due to the slight material deformation.

Is there a material or process (not EDM ££££££) which could stay dimensionally stable while being lasered, but only have 1mm walls?

These could be made from anything, and the dimensions of the piece are 105 x 78mm and as stated minimum but consistent wall thickness is 1mm.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks
Andy
