    renishaw trs2 tool detection

    I am looking for feed back on the renishaw trs2 tool detection system
    how well it works
    does it have false detection's
    how well it stand up in the machine environment --coolant / chips/ fine sprays from high pressure coolant systems ect

    Still looking for some feed back on TRS2 from renishaw
    would also like to open it up to other non contact tool detectors i am not looking for tool setters as we set tools offline
    Marposs ?

    Hello there.You should have no worries using the Renishaw TRS2. It is very reliable and it can stand up very well to coolants as it is built to by-pass random light patterns created by coolants and swarfs.
