    MA650 overtravel alarm

hey guys, we recently moved our cnc department into a new building and during the process one of our ma650's must have moved onto its limit switch.
i have found what i believe are the limit switch release switches, but there are two switches side by side and im unsure of which one to use? any help wouold be appreciated!

don't be afraid to try. When the correct switch is on You will see the message on thse screen saying " .. axis interlock release" or something like that. Any markings next to the switches "RST" "OT" ?

They are in different locations depending on the control and vintage. If there are two side by side tiny ones they are probably on a newer control. they should be labeled though if you look closely like Al says.
Experience is what you get just after you needed it.

    Re: MA650 overtravel alarm

i ended up just trying one out of desperation ha ha, i didnt know you guys had been trying to help me, the forum used to send me email updates when people posted on my threads...

anyway, the controller is an osp200m, and the machine is an early 2000's vintage. long story short, of the two available switches it is the on labelled NC.

    thanks for the replies!
