Hello there everyone!

Not to long ago I lost everything on my computer and had to start all over. Since then I completely forgot what I had done previously to get my engraver to connect to my laptop. I have done everything I can think of and am about to pull all of my hair out. Here is what I've done so far...
-Made sure everything is connected
-Plugged cord into several ports
-Refreshed all USB ports
-Uninstalled and reinstalled RDCam
-Uninstalled and reinstalled USB driver through RDCam software
-Installed SM Bus Controller
-Installed FTDI driver D2XX
-Restarted my computer SO MANY TIMES!

I have a 60w CO2 laser engraver from China [Not sure what else info you may need]. And am running RDCam v8 on my Windows 7 Dell Laptop.

What more could I do to make this thing work?! If you need any more info just let me know...

Was the other computer a Dell. On my CNC Dells will not run without com errors due to the crappy Dell usb ports.

Yup, before I lost everything it worked.

Well, my laptop can see that the engraver is connected but the program doesn't see the engraver. I have tried laserworks and RDCam.

go into device manager and remove the usb and any yellow checked things then do a scan for new hardware.
