    The latest from KOZM Guitars

I haven’t posted here for awhile. Thought it would be good to show what I’m up to these days.
Here’s a look at the guitar I’m currently working on, the KOZM “Performer LS”.
    Custom hard-tail bridge.
    Non-floating magnetic pick-up.
    24.75” scale length.
Body woods, front: Alaskan yellow cedar, torrified maple, big leaf maple in the middle.
    Body wood, back: Mahogany

The elliptical hole is for inserting the strings through the hard-tail bridge system.

The knobs are 3D printed (Objet). The left, tone knob will be a push-pull - which will toggle the Joe Barden S-Deluxe mini-humbucker from "coils in parallel" to "coils in series".

Here's a cutaway view of the body, showing the support structure for the non-floating p-up mount. Mounting the p-up from the back of the guitar should reduce the amount of feedback, and not weigh-down or hinder the soundboard from vibrating.

SolidWorks, VisualCADCAM (MecSoft), ShopSabre CNC, WinCNC

    All comments and questions appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Jeff Kosmoski

    Hello Jeff,
If you give us some video you design in SW and cnc machining from beginning to end that would be good. Your 3d guitar is very interesting..

The 2 body halves have been glued together, and I had a chance to do some sanding today.

The aluminum "saddle base" goes to the anodizer tomorrow.
The Joe Barden pickup is due to arrive any day now.
Clear poly starting in a couple days.

    Stay tuned!

Wow! That's just amazing work there, Jeff!

I'm blown away by the beautiful job you've done on the guitar.

    cheers, Ian
It's rumoured that everytime someone buys a TB6560 based board, an engineer cries!
