Hello,

Can anyone please help! I am trying to operate a fanuc 21-t lathe in tape mode from a PC.
The software I am using is old (superdraft serin/serout) but works fine when uploading and downloading to memory, but when I am in tape mode the screen on controller briefly flashes up LSK in the bottom right corner when I press cycle start but then nothing else happens. I believe all settings on the PC are correct so either I am operating things incorrectly or the parameters in the machine are not set correctly.
Would appreciate any help members could offer...

yes its have only RMT mode
not MEM mode
i want MEM mode
When i push the boton mem mode the crt screen
Show only RMT not chow MEM mode
I Want know how to show The MEM mode

Search the ladder for coil G43.5. If this coil is high the machine will enter DNC or Remote mode. It will not use MEM mode. Look to see what will set it low. Normally, this is a keep relay or F address from the operator screen.
