    Request for donations

I received this email today, take if for what it's worth.

    Dear Sir,
I am representing RCModel Club, Russia, town of Mineralny Vody. We are very
impressed and interested in your work of 3D CNC Mill. In our country we don'
t have such devices in this sphere of technology. We want to create CNC Mill
here in our club. With such technology & equipment we will be able to
achieve a higher level of quality of our flying models and through this -
create interest in our work and hobbies among young people in our region.

We are non commercial organization & we don't earn money as a profit from
our work. We exists only on charity of our members & on their enthusiasms.
We have no opportunity to spend 300 or 500 $ to buy some equipment for CNC
    Mill.

Because of that, could help our club and contribute some old or used
equipment for our club, such as:

    3 channel stepper driver - 1pieces
    Stepper motor Nema23 size, 4 wires. 80-100 oz - 3 pieces

We would appreciate any answer from you and any help you might want to
    deliver to our club.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.

We will be waiting very patiently for your answer.

If you can't help, could you print this letter in your site www.cnczone.com
    or forum ?

    Sincerely yours,

    Chief of RCModel Club,

    Samokhin Michail.

One would think that if they truly live on charity alone that there wouldn't be extravagant luxuries such as an RC plane club.

I would still be more than happy to donate items anyway, but shipping to a remote region of Russia would cost a fortune! Wouldn't it?

I think he was saying that the club lives on charity alone. That is, it isn't a profit making club.

I think you learn alot more and have alot more enjoyment over the ending project making stuff by hand. Cnc is more for production....but anyway.... Darebee is right i was thinking about what i could donate everythign would cost more to ship then it was worth. 5 pounds to russia from the usa is 30 to 50 bucks. but then maybe you guys on the other side of the world :P would be cheaper
