    Surface Finish Contour

Using this tooplath is the a purpose one would use either of the transitions " High Speed", "Ramp", "Broken", Follow Surface". i.e if I just want to rough out my stock, either one should work, correct? Or would one would better than the other.

As well for the cut depths in surface finish contour, I noticed that sometimes you need it on and set the depth or other times you do not need it to turn it on.. Any particular reason why ?

Either one will work. Each one has it's own way to thransfer to the next depth. High speed will do like an s shape to go to the next depth , broken will just move straight down to the next depth, ramp will ramp down to next step and follow surface will follow the surface to the next depth. The cut depths will set the amount you want to step down each pass.
