    What QCTP fits the Central Machinery 44859 Lathe

    Hello All;

    Just picked up a a CM 44859 8"x 12' lathe, it looks like a Lathemaster Clone.
    What QCTP will fit it ? Is the one sold by Lathemaster a " Bolt on " fit. Do I need a new Compound , or modify the old one to fit ?

    I had a Lathemaster for years and Loved it. had to sell it when I moved. Found this Lathe on Craigslist. Had a AXA on it and it was great.

    Thanks Mitch .......

    Yes, the lathe master unit is a bolt on for your unit and will not need to mod a thing.

    As for the tool holders, LM tends to be spendy on theirs, and if you have a mill, can relief cut other brands to work on the LM unit.
