Ok so I have Downloaded the Inkscape Vector graphics editor for easy logo transfers from .SVG resaved as a .DXF for Solidworks. This method worked for me two times then is failing continuously now.

Before when I would open the DXF file I would get a black background with white line detail of the graphic as I opened the file in Solidworks. Now I get no graphic and a blank page, even from the old usable graphics files I had success with early on.

Has anyone used this method and had issues like this as well?

What would be an alternate to this? Adobe Ilustrater?

I need to be able to deboss logos on customer products for the machining process.
