what are these worth as a pair.

as the title says. what are they worth as I am about to advertise them.
this machine is in very good condition. comes with a pc but l'm not sure if all the software is there. no paperwork or disks.

Were I buying, I would offer $150 at most.

With the status of the PC, software and electronics unknown, I would be betting on having to replace everything electronic to get the machines to run.

If you can locate software and get one lathe running, then I might go as high as $500.

Basically they are worth what ever you can get out of them. They have gone from being given away, to very little money, to someone thinking they where gold.

If you search the forum you will find many people that have bought them in a shape of needing repair and did conversions. Even the ones that did run where all most always converted because of no softwear & such. You being down under may change things a bit also. They do make very good machines once converted, I would love to find one here in the states close to me.

Going over all the build threads of this machine may help you find a idea of a price for resale.

If you look on eBay, a working compact 5 CNC in good shape seems to go for north of $1000, especially with an ATC. In the condition yours is in, whatever you could get for it. If the rust is only superficial and the spindle runs, I'd guess a couple hundred as it would be a good base for a conversion, but that will be at least $400-$500 of parts. Personally, I'd keep it and do the conversion myself, and use it

If the rust is more than superficial and indicative of the overall condition of the machine, then I'd pull the ATC turret and eBay that, and take the rest to the junkyard.

What sort of money were you looking for them?
If the price is right I might be interested in both, however, I'm in Perth so freight could be a deal killer.
I'm not interested in the PC, would just add $$ to the freight.
