I have a Chinese made cnc router, it has been working fine for quite some time but today as soon as i power on the machine, the spindle starts spinning by itself and spins at high speed and I cannot even stop it by pressing the ON/OFF button on the DSP.
Have to switch off the machine to stop the machine.

Any idea what could be wrong.

You need a breakout board that has Safety Charge Pump. Maybe this one will work for you:

You may be able to install an external one:
https://cnc4pc.com/c4-safety-charge-pump.html

It is basically a watchdog that monitors the controller to confirm that the signals are valid.
