Yes, at one time I had seen the mix-up at the machine tool, the tool off-set was set at Dia. When trying to use Radius comp.

A replay on the tapping in aluminum, I found that tooling up for Roll - taps and using correct drill sizes works fantastically, No chips burrs or chasing the threads, blind or though holes....
Check to see what the Asian top level companies use for manufacturing small RC / car parts, small fishing reel parts. Okuma, Matsuri come to mind.
I do remember tape drive cnc, very hard to edit punch tape. Just not able to to what the technology has to offer today's standards. Thanks FISHINGUY.
Well that's a thought, Look into a different cam system, if you plan to do 3-d surfacing.
Has any one seen the zimmerman cnc multi-million axis machine on Utube ????
Still looks good, but still may need hand finish, or a bead blaster to improved finished product
Yes check parameters
Looks like a good list, store this in my bookmarks, make copies.
There should be complete list on most software support indexes, when I was in school I could request them from any machine tool manufacturer, they would always send as much information as I needed....
Have you tried OKUMA manuals or technical support. Thanks FISHINGUY.
I would at least try mactech54 recommendation, sometime the cad system you my be using does not include these codes in the parameters, but can be alterd, just take a better look at the manuals.
Please reply, on how things end up, so the head banging can stop.
I very much agree with the Gyman response, also there is a online site called G WIZARD for a basic explanation of g and m codes for cnc programing. It could shed some light on this hang up.
I agree with first response, our try a g41 on the next z move after block 440.
