I think they are located in Hesperia CA. I see them advertising all the time on craigslist. I almost gave them a call. Sorry to hear about the lost money, sucks.

I don't understand how cutting in CW vs CCW can make a difference??
Usually Torchmates customer service is really good. I will give TM that.
Let's find an exact interchange for the motors. I kept one of my bad motors in case someone needs it for reference.
Hello everyone.
I just got an older CNC (Picking up in a couple of weeks after some training). I will be trained on how to program the mill by punching in the g code (like on my cnc lathe). I'm...
Great idea. Sometimes you're stuck on the weekend with a broken part.
Slide cassette *The part number is FDC35HP-00000000
Link to overhaul thread....
Bad motor x2! The opposite side motor of the gantry just went bad. Change both motors if you have one motor going bad, because the second motor isn't far behind.
Try "make path". See if that does it.
If not call torchmate, their tech support is pretty good when it comes to this stuff.
Here is something interesting for the next guy.
My gantry has been getting stuck for no reason on the X axis. We thought it was the track. We aligned it, cleaned it, and did anything we could, but...
Go to the overhaul thread. http://www.cnczone.com/forums/torchmate/134382-torchmate_overhaul.html
the info is there.
I have the same problem. My program almost always crashes when I hit "nest".
I do all my work in Corel, Illustrator or now solidworks. Is there any software that will let me do lead-in and offsets...
I think I rather wear out spur gears than the track. easier to change and much less expensive (I Imagine).
I forgot to update everyone.
*You can get the cassette from Torchmate (Speak to Brook) or get it from Comoso Santa Fe Springs CA (Speak to Amanda).
*The part number is FDC35HP-00000000
*How...
I do most of the designing in Corel, Illustrator or Flexisign. Then use Torchmate for Lead in's and tooling offset.
OMG, Bad ass work!!
So is this thread still about a DIY plasma table or has it changed?
(chair):D
Hows the progress going?
I'll give you that info in a few days. The factory is seeing if they can make a grease able cassette for me. If it's doable, they will create a part number for it.
Price is about $190 for the...
Here's the main problem we were having with accuracy. As you can see the spur gears were really worn out. The other two gears were not as worn, however were still allowing for some slack.
I also...
Hello everyone. Lately my TM3 has been cutting really bad, and I mean bad. I've spent the past couple of weeks tracking down the problems and here's what I found.
The cassette is on roller...
I just noticed that your motor faces into the gantry. My motor hangs off the outside and faces the outside.
Do you have a better picture of your table?
Looks like I need to make or buy plasma quench, add a shield, and spray down the slide.
I ordered the parts from torchmate. I was trying to find a local place to get them ASAP! I'll just have to wait until tomorrow.
Hello everyone.
I need a gear and shaft for my Torchmate 3. Does anyone know where I can get this part?
Here's a blurry picture of what I need. As you can see the small gear at the end of the...
200k, that's about 180k beyond my budget.:)
When did this come out???? Whats the HFL015 cost?
Cheap and effective. I love it.
Where did you get the jet nozzles?
I just had a thought. I think the metal dust that the plasma creates is where the rust is coming from.
What does plasma quench do? Plasma quench is out of business it seems.
Keep the ideas coming.
There really isn't any way to keep the moisture off of it. We are going to make a shield and that's all I can think of doing.
On the plus side, I found the manufacturer and a vender. The vender is...
