Thanks everyone. I wrote the code and it worked perfectly.

Here is the code for all 15 holes on the trial part.
I see the canned cycle and the G80 command to end.
Question is: Can I insert a Z(X.XXX") F50 line into the code to have it retract properly for...
Basically the same code as before.
I did find what I thought was my mistake, in Fusion there are 15 or so drilling ops and I had selected deep drilling, rapid out.
I selected drilling, feed out;...
Thanks Ray,
I'm surprised, but not really. I looked at the G code when I posted and didn't see the prescribed retract rate, should have known something was wrong. Assumed because there was a...
Ray,
underfeed by 10%, any difference in bumping the spindle speed by +50 rpm, or go to 22-23 ipm feed in?
Thanks,
Jim
Don't see the retract feed rate here but I'm not very well experienced in coding. The retract feed rate is set for 50 ipm in fusion.

Thanks Ray,
I calibrated the spindle using an old school Starrett machinist speed indicator and a stop watch. Had it within about 4 rpm best I could tell after multiple checks(calibrated @ 500...
In the middle of trialing a new post that includes tapping with a procurnier tapping head.
Have calibrated the spindle speed, calculated the feed in, x2 on the way out, the tapped hole turned out...
Any problems with holding a carbide end mill in the Tormach TTS Endmill holders?
All of my carbide endmills are non weldon style (they do not have a flat on them).
Wondering if the carbide...
It looks like you can't save as and select igs as a file type but if you enter the export in IGS command in the command prompt, it creates a file in the proper format. You have to click on the solid...
Getting ready to take the Tormach plunge and have decided on Sprutcam. Does this work well with autoCAD 2014? I've drafted 2 3d models in CAD but before investing any more design time before my...
