our German and Chinese engineers now provide full service for machine tools already installed and support for assembly and commissioning of new machines.
The WALDRICH COBURG service company guarantees better process and production reliability by providing fast service support (within 24 hours) to ensure high machine availabilities for our customers. Advantages include locally available spare parts and service business that is conducted in the local currency RMB. Another important advantage is that all communication is in the local language which facilitates contact to the customer.
Currently 10 employees, including some specialists from Germany, support WALDRICH COBURG customers and values in China. Our long-term approach is to establish a service platform for the entire Asian region and to deepen our cultural understanding and awareness of our customers in the region.

The customers expect fast on-site support and are no longer willing to wait for several days until the technician arrives at the door thereby incurring financial losses due to long machine downtimes. Another important aspect for us is the immediate integration of the Chinese managers in the service business to increase customer confidence and to intensify the business relationship.”
In support of our commitment, Mr. Liu Zhong Bai has been appointed General Manager. Mr. Hans-Joachim Rose is currently head of the Quality Management and is responsible for continuous quality improvement.
Our statistics show that in the last few years Bavarian exports were primarily machine tools and electro technical products. Trade volumes have again reached record highs of 313 Billion Euros. Behind the United States, China ranks second among the 10 most important export-trade partners of Bavarian enterprises. In business volume, China is number 1 for WALDRICH COBURG therefore it was only logical and necessary that WALDRICH COBURG has taken this step towards China.
