Wheel moving cylindrical and roll grinding machine series R/154-CNC

The R/154 - CNC is a heavy duty wheel-moving grinding machine entirely made of iron castings produced in GIORIA foundry and available with distance between centres up to 10000 mm, centres height up to 1000 mm and weight capacity between centres up to 40000 kg. The machine is equipped with CNC Siemens Sinumerik 840D or Fanuc as an alternative. A wide set of options is available such as: - electronic micrometric crown grinding system for concave, convex or compound profile grinding - special wheelhead to grind tapers in traverse grinding mode with two additional CNC axes. - ID grinding attachment with belt-driven or electro-spindle - Superfinishing and polishing attachment - Automatic grinding wheel balancer - Acoustic sensing system and touch probes for process automation - In process OD and shape measurement system fully integrated to automatic grinding cycles
