Hey guys,
I've got a new laser coming, and
I would love to hear what materials you guys (safely) cut, and where you purchase those materials.
Thanks.
-Josh!

Welcome to LaserBits The World Leader In Laser Engravable Products and Training is one good source. You can get acrylic from Home Depot or Lowes.
As far as what you can cut and engrave, there is a lot out there. I find for wood depending on size and thickness I buy from Home Depot, Hobby Lobby, Balsa USA etc. Acrylics and plastics I buy from Johnson Plastics, various other things from JDS. The sky is the limit being there is so much out there to use. I find for engraving vs cutting i use paper to do practice runs on especially before I engrave on a customers personal item. While you are learning you will go through a lot of material just learning the basics hence using paper.
Hi Sir,
it could cut and engrave all non-metal materials and soem metal materials ,our co2 laser cutting machine is ok, so yours also ok.
