    Upgrading from X to X3

I have recently installed X3web.exe and used the migration utility to update my existing X files, control file, posts etc.
Now when I post in X3 using either of my posts, all linear feed rates irrespective of programmed values come out as
F9999990, Canned cycle feedrates post OK.

Also stagetool and coolant commands dont post properly, I can live with these shortcomings for now, but obviously feedrates are a different matter.

I do not Know where my problem originates from.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Control Name : HEIDENHAIN (i)TNC 426/430/530 (CONVERSATIONAL)
Description : HEIDENHAIN TNC CONVERSATIONAL 5-AXIS MILL POST

    Cadcam.

Thank you for your reply, After searching both this forum and the emastercam forum for info. It seems that my posts are not mpmaster based. I will be contacting IHS for for instructions on how to tweak my posts or for a post update utility.

I did not look to see what post you have. the 5 axis DMU is not an easy post. so I would talk with your dealer.In-house does make a really good post for the DMU. I have purchased them for my customers in the past.
