Ultimax 3 Detail zero point lost after reboot?!

    Hi!

I'm seeng strange thing with the Ultimax 3 software. I want to use G-code prog that's made in CAM-system. I'm loading the program on HDD. After that, I'm setting the zero point of the stock, starting the program, but after some time I need to shut the machine down. When I restart it - all the points are lost. Everywhere are the standart numbers... That's strange for me, especially after the Fanuc and Fagor CNCs, that I've been using before.

How do I store points in the Hurco? I don't want to write down the numbers on paper every day and put them back every day again! What do I do wrong?

I am not sure this function was implemented in your software - from input screen go to import/export softkey and use Save NC State to file. It saves tools and part setup data. You need to do it only for NC mode. In conversational mode tools and part data is stored in every program *.hd3 file.

Yes, there is such option in my machine. So, do I need to make this operation every time I stop my machine? Isn't that strange? Or it's normal for Hurco?

It could be normal for this software version. I am not sure... As I remember you do not have to save NC State on software version 2.3X (you can of course). Reboot doesn't clear this data...
