    Tormach stepper motors

A friend upgraded his tormach mill and he gave me the stepper motors and micro step drivers. I would like to use these to convert my mill to cnc.
Does anyone know what voltage power supply I should use for them? One motor is a p/n30632 the other is a 30199.
    thanks,
    Mike

Why don't you callTormach? They'll probably help you.
You can buy GOOD PARTS or you can buy CHEAP PARTS, but you can't buy GOOD CHEAP PARTS.

Best thing to do is to measure the output of the power supply on your friend's Tormach. As I recall it is in the 60-65 volt range but make sure you verify for yourself.

I did find a manual for the machine on line. One of the troubleshooting notes said the voltage to the stepper drives should be 55-75 volts on the DC bus
