Hi , I have quantum bf20l mill.
I tyr my new presicion boring tool in it's mt2 taper. But it stacked in mt2. same happen before er25 collets too.

Now hot to remove it ? and ideas for avaid it again ?

I missed the screw mechanism under the plastik hood.

Apply high tension to pull it out. You won't succeed, but the tension is important.
Then tap the top end of the pull rod.
Caution: have a large cushion underneath ready to catch the fitting.

Next time, use some copper anti-sieze on the mating faces.
