    SKT210SY - Turret not aligning, AL-66, alarm 2066

    Hi all,

Our Hyundai Kia SKT210SY with a FANUC series 18i-TB control is having a problem with indexing the turret. The alarm comes up:

    NO. 2066

    AL-66 TURRET INDEX COND. NG

After looking in the manual there is no mention of an alarm 66, in fact the alarm appendix ends at AL-56. Does anyone know a solution to this alarm? In the manual there is a section on home position setting method which we have followed but the alarm remains. (page 253)

I have attached the manual we have been following.

Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

    Thanks

The servo amp is a fanuc aiSV 40/80
    (the a is an alpha)

all the status displays on the servo drives read 0, not sure what this means however.

    Hi!!!

    My questions would be:

    - are the y, x and b axis in reference position (zero return position) when you command the tool change? check signals F94.0 (x), F94.2 (y 1st zero return)/ F96.2 (y-axis 2nd zero return), F94.3 (1st b axis zero return) / F96.3 (b-axis 2nd zero return)
    - do you push the select botton together with index botton? (in JOG mode)
    - are the door closed? maybe the door safety switch malfunction.
    - is the turret in adjust mode (K5.0 = 1)?
    - is the polygone mode on?
    - is the tool setter in reteract position?
    - is the turret clamped? check the signals X10.6=0, X10.7=1, X6.7=1, X6.6=1. if the signals are diferent let me know what you got.

    cheers!!!
