    That's a new one....
What was the actual warning ?
    - could it have been.... that it need to be updated ?
you probably had a post for an earlier version......just needs to go thru the Updatepost c-hook

put up the top 10 lines of the post
X5 post should have a V14.00 on the 1st line

Your error is strange, any later post should go thru the c-hook
----unless it is a very, very early post ( ie V8 / V9).
These have to be updated with an earlier X series version, before using the X5 Updatepost.DLL
your top lines will tell me what version the post is from

Cannot your reseller help you ?

I work for a large company that has Mastercam, I was just trying to help a friend out with the Shopbot program. The Shopbot post is for V7.

There is the problem as to why it won't update...V7 (which is circa , 1998)
It would need to go thru a V9 update, then thru say an X2 version before passing thru to X5

Best to find a more current post, from available sites & customise to your requirements
    - what control ?
    - also give an example of NC code

Thank you, I'll try and get a newer post.. My friend makes Guitars, and runs Aspire software with Shopbot control, but he doesn't know how to program.

Are you running the 5axis Shopbot like this one. I did this one in X7 testing there post. most posts are locked if it is 5axis.
