Answering my own question; I did find an old file I used with Mach3 for setting tool zero, but had to edit out the question boxes. The boxes did not appear in the front of the USS screen, but behind....
I would like to get the touch macro any way I can. Your macro's were straight forward.
Perhaps I just don't know how to find my way around the UCC screen.

I looked at the profile macro's, and most of them were not to be written in. I did not see anything about the touch tool zero window on the run page. If the park macro's were in there, I missed them....
I have the new version 1.2037 running good, and also the 2017 screen set. I have two profiles, and want the UCC sceen working as good as the 2017. The 2017 by Ger has places to fill in the blanks for...
How does Hass work? They have a large button panel but I have only seen them in operation at a demo. And, what is the big need for editing a particular DRO? Just curious as a CNC user, and three time...
Ger:
I finally got it all to work OK. Setting one end at 0, and the other just shy of tripping the limit switch, and putting that minus dimension in the
line. It now slows to a stop, and puts a...
Hello from Los Angeles, Greolt:
I wrote to the maker of the Vista CNC pendant, Lee Neuman regarding writing a plug-in for the Vista Pendant. He replied that he needed the "hooks" in the UCCNC...
Can someone explain how to set-up the Soft Limits?
The axis numerical settings are listed in the axis settings page with two entries of the + limit and - limit. The manual states to simply check the...
Here is a modified touch-plate macro. No tool change, no fixed second plate, no specific X-Y position. Just jog over the touch plate, attach the ground clip onto the tool. Put the macro into the M31...
Hello Bob:
I made a mistake regarding the AMT#, as I was writing the post from memory. The unit used was AMT-102. I have (4) of them working on my mill, and all work fine. Very nice compact little...
You want the E-Stop action to cut power to the drivers, and spindle. Most boards and/or drivers have an enable pin, which must be on for the amp to turn on. Also, most boards have a connection for...
Hello Bob:
I believe the Wells Index 833 used the Sharnoa Control. The original control was pretty amazing considering what it could do way back in the early 1980's. The Electrocraft motors are very...
I see this question often in the forums, and seems to be from people unfamiliar to CAD drawing and machining. When you look at a CAD drawing, Cartesian coordinates are the "modus operandi" when...
Hello Excelmachine:
Although I am not the OP of this thread, you idea is excellent. This is what is good about a multiple heads working on a problem.
Still a bit of a programming problem, but...
Well thanks, wheelieking71. I do appreciate that.
Hi wheelieking71:
Thanks for responding to my suggestion.
I understand (sort of) the OP question. However, a lot of CAD/Cam packages address the basics, and this problem is not a simple, basic...
Is the cut out shape a true circle?
If so, a ball mill at the center of the ball, would describe a circular path within the shape. That ball mill center position is directly related to the center...
This is can be done using your 4-axis mill with a little creative CAD work.
Take your end view, as seen in your picture, and make a copy of the shape rotated in 2 or 3 degree increments, for each...
Little Machine Shop sells a pretty good 4" rotary table CNC ready without motor, or with a motor. I believe the make of the unit is PhaseII; adjustable backlash, hardened and ground worm screw,...
