  1. Re: Problem loading screen data for tool touch and park location

There was code in the UCC m31 macro, but it made no sense to me. What does it do?

  2. Re: Problem loading screen data for tool touch and park location

Answering my own question; I did find an old file I used with Mach3 for setting tool zero, but had to edit out the question boxes. The boxes did not appear in the front of the USS screen, but behind....
  3. Re: Problem loading screen data for tool touch and park location

I would like to get the touch macro any way I can. Your macro's were straight forward.

Perhaps I just don't know how to find my way around the UCC screen.

  4. Re: Problem loading screen data for tool touch and park location

I looked at the profile macro's, and most of them were not to be written in. I did not see anything about the touch tool zero window on the run page. If the park macro's were in there, I missed them....

    Ger:

I finally got it all to work OK. Setting one end at 0, and the other just shy of tripping the limit switch, and putting that minus dimension in the

Can someone explain how to set-up the Soft Limits?

    Re: Macro zero touch plate

Here is a modified touch-plate macro. No tool change, no fixed second plate, no specific X-Y position. Just jog over the touch plate, attach the ground clip onto the tool. Put the macro into the M31...

    Hello Bob:
I believe the Wells Index 833 used the Sharnoa Control. The original control was pretty amazing considering what it could do way back in the early 1980's. The Electrocraft motors are very...

    The spindle

I see this question often in the forums, and seems to be from people unfamiliar to CAD drawing and machining. When you look at a CAD drawing, Cartesian coordinates are the "modus operandi" when...

Thanks for responding to my suggestion.

I understand (sort of) the OP question. However, a lot of CAD/Cam packages address the basics, and this problem is not a simple, basic...
