It can be made from scratch, but U can use an fanuc wedm post, and modify it. Linear anr circular movements should work the same, also g41/2, g51/2. U need to modify only start section, and...
Hello!
I'm starting to search new software for my new work and there is (as usual) some questions. I recalled my past (ca 2008-2010) cooperation with Esprit.
Do they still offer any available...
I follow Your works here and in cncinfo. It's quite interesting to have other option to control motors than only step-dir pulses, which are indeed very simple in aplication, but also quite slow and...
Why are U looking in camworks section?
If U are making a measurement (there is a softbutton in TSM screen) then offsets are taken into account. It automatically substracts tool offsets from WPC (workpiece coordinate system) setting and...
I'm not sure what U were willing to say.
Tool length in milling machines is ment to be measured from specific point on the spindle. It is quite close to face plane of the spindle, or exactly on it...
There should be some tool gauge setter (looks like a tool, but it has no cutters, it's monolith with holder and it's measured and has it's lengths and diameters marked on)
U can also muasure some...
Laser gate has two "flaps" covering laser beam emiter and sensor. They are opened by air presure maybe they are not fully opening. There are diodes showing that gate works, and beam is properly...
Gpp and vmid won't work with solidworksCAM.

Gpp and vmid won't work with solidworksCAM.
U should have encoders connected from motors to drivers. Anyway closed loop steppers don't work the same as servodrives. The drive just makes alarm signals when motor loses more than set amount of...
Did the machine worked earlier with no problems?
Looks like huge backlash, or loosing steps on turnovers, which could be caused by to high acceleration.
Have U checked manual? It is available online.
Maybe just limit switch stucks and when u hit it it stays on, so machine thinks it can not go any further in this direction.
I had the same problem about half year ago. Y axis limit switch is...
Easiest way is to edit pp and add equation for feed value (its f/s*1000) it should work anyway.
Values for f, and s are variables that u can easy find in gpp file.
As for using pitch directly- U...
Did U get software from rolanddg? There should be also 3dengrave for modeling.
As for modela player it imports basic 3d formats as .stl.
There is a bunch of clips on Youtube about these machines...
The code finishes on Y=0. If the machine doesn't go there it probably has some backlash. Code has nothing to do with it.
U know that U can mount spindle in two positions?
If U mount it in lower position even short tool will reach table.
Also U set machining height by moving spindle with up and down buttons beneath...
I just said what i observed on my modela. It always repositions on Z maximum. Z Up is where the cutting movements start. All above are rapid (let's say that this toy has rapid ones ;) )
Z=0 is a...
It's just repositioning, Z up position means where material starts and engraver wants to mill everything from this height.
Looks like U indeed may have a problem with flushing.
How far are Your water jets from the material? They should be 0,2mm (or 0,008") both upper and lower.
U can set water to 3 it won't mess...
Can U show g-code. Looks like in line no 5 is some error.
I'm not sure but TM control may not be able to perform helical interpolation.
It may also mean that U are on some hardware limit that holds safety circuit off.
Usuallu it is Z limit cause this axis can move a little with power off.
I had this problem lots of times with my...
Definitelly seems intresting.
I guess there can be an answer:
https://www.cnczone.com/forums/controller-amp-computer-solutions/108321-run-spectralight-0200-without-controller-card.html
But not every link is working now. Maybe...
U can find info (even on this forum) what U need to change on the ghenuine main board to make it work with M3. As far as i remember it requires cutting and resoldiering 1 or 2 pcb tracks.
What kind of material do U cut?
Smell's like some kind of aluminium alloy. Can u change it for other (like PA6)?
If not be sure U have good mill with polished edges and try as low rpm as possible.
Have U tried producer website?
https://www.rolanddga.com/support/products/milling/camm-3-pnc-3000-3d-milling-machine
Not every usb to serial adapter will work with it. Surently MOXA or sth like...
There are four independent stepper motors drivers on main board of the controller, screwed to aluminium profile as for radiator. U need to discover their signals route and connect mach's outputs...
But U need proper start point for arc anyway. Plane wrongly programmed refers to the improper arc programmed further.
