That is the ladder: it is not lost when you lose the volatile data. You also need the NC parameters and the PMC parameters.
What is the machine model?
You have the NC parameters? I can only help loading parameters, NOT create them.
Make sure that for programs 9000, parameter 2201 bit0 is set to "0"
and for programs 8000, parameter 11 bit0 is set to "0"
The procedure or the 11 is not the same as the 15.
"Supposedly at the end of the procedure it asks to clear the files (saw it on YT video) and this bit worries me." It will clear only what is...
In IPL mode you can enter the options in hex; likely you won't lose any data by only enabling G10. Do you know how to do this?
Also available from [email protected] (I supplied the 'empty' files to Memex...)
But it should indicate completion of backup regardless.
All parameters and other data, other than part programs, are stored in the first file. Only if the first 512k of sram is insufficient, will additional files have programs in them. So, don't be too...
0453 - 03 is the software. My option list shows that 0453 does not support macro B.
What is your software? You may not have the eproms for the macro B option.
Are you leaving the other bits (x) unchanged?
902-x1xxxxxx macro A
917-xxx1xxxx macro variables 600
912-1xxxxxxx macro executer
913-1xxxxxxx macro B
p/s 000 alarm means that the control power has to be cycled.
If the SRAM backup in BOOT mode results in a parity error, you will likely also get that when downloading the programs. Try deleting the offending program and then do the SRAM backup.
one 'stuck' key will affect other keys. A bad keyboard is likely the problem.
I need to have much more info before I can suggest a solution; it CAN be done in real time, if needed, but it may be too expensive.
That is an interesting 'problem'. I don't know what the maximum latency of MTconnnect on a 30i is, but I suspect a lot less than 10s.
A possible solution is using I/O Link (I did that before).

Remove it; don't bother replacing it.
You will have lost your PMC parameters; they have to be restored. There may be other issues.
Is your ladder running?
Download the NC parameters, including the 900s and send them to me [email protected]
If you have a SRAM backup, use that to restore your data.
That is an option parameter. Send me a p.m.
I have been working on Heian NC-432 and NC-442 twin table routers with Fanuc 15MA control. The customer's documentation is incomplete and Heian is no help. Who has one or both of these machines and...
Did you back up the LADDER separately? It also depends on the FAPT version; which one do you have?
You may need to use a password; I am not allowed to post that info here, so email me: [email protected]
Do you have a complete backup of the NC and PMC parameters? Also programs, offsets, custom macro variables?
Where are you located?
I have never had a problem with a different version; you certainly can use a higher (later) version number.
You can buy one off Ebay for ~$150 shipped; just replace it.
