I only lofted in one direction. There were probably 15 curves altogether and it twisted it in a few spots, but after the style box I hit ok and it just hanged there.

I think it's more of an issue with SW, because it opens that way in a lot of programs.


You can also save the part in SW as an STL and open that in Rhino.

Ok, it definitely has to do with the way blender creates text.

I imported an obj into blender and exported as binary stl and as ascii stl and meshcam opened both files just fine.

I think this has more to do with Blender than with MeshCAM, like I said MeshCAM opened another exported STL just fine.
