A radius around the corner is a shorter path and accomplishes the same thing. Shorter path means less time. A shorter path hundreds of times means a lot less time.

Well I figured out what was going on. I was scrolling through the config screens looking for something and stumble upon this. (see photo)
I cleared that line and restarted Mach4 (Lines still...
My pendant is a number pad. I just use it to move the machine around to setup the job. Once setup, it's cycle start on the panel door. Not a big deal. After not having to do this for ever with mach3...
Ok so I'm guessing that it's not possible to enable jogging on startup. Thank you for trying.
Here is something I noticed.
Load Mach4 - Click Enable - no DRO movement with arrow buttons - Click disable - click operator - click edit screen - click edit screen again to uncheck - screen loads...
The message box poped up. No change on the issue. Button enabled but keyboard will not jog until the button is clicked twice. I thought the KeyBoardInputToggle() routine in the Screen Script file...
I'll add the message box code tomorrow and see what happens. Thank you for helping out.
I did set it to zero. It worked for the lathe but not the mill. Thats actually mhow it is right now
Yeah I tried that. heres the text from my previous post.
"Also where it says set register to 1 i edited it to a zero and again the lathe worked and the mill did not."
Basically all it does is...
I have done exactly what you have detailed but no workie. The lathe profile worked but the mill profile does not. The button is lit green but the key presses do not move the DRO. Then I have to click...
I have seen a few posts on other forums about enabling the keyboard jogging when Mach4 starts up. I tried all the of the suggestions and none worked. Some lit up the button but I could not move the...

This is funny but I just used my 17/32 collet 2 days ago to hold a part for second side machining. Most of my collet use isn't to hold tooling but to hold parts for machining without leaving jaw...
You must be because i'm happy with the machines I have. On my lathe, once the spindle warms up, i can make parts for hours at +-0.0005. That's good enough for what I am doing and in some cases over...
I bought 2 brand new Thompson and dumped them out specifically to count the balls. There were 69.
Go for it. I would love to see some build pictures of that build.
Well gentlemen, here's where I'm at on the little Chevy. The show is this weekend in Zanesville Ohio. If you can get there here is what you will see. I ran out of time and could not finish the rear...
Bob Shutt built a copy of my V8 with manual mill and lathe. Some of the parts were not as ornate as originally designed but it still looks real good.
You could pull off some single or 2 cylinder engines but for a 8 or 12 cylinder you are going to want that milling machine. Not that i cant be done, just would make it much more time consuming with...
Well I finally have wheels on the front. I finished up the heim joints on the A arms and made the hubs. The brakes are bolted on for the first time and the tire is mounted. I am going to make a wheel...
Another weeks worth!
I have finished the front struts. I still need to make the mounts for the top so stay tuned on that. Started on the pieces Saturday so there is 5 days, a couple hours a day....
George did a T5 ford for his 302 in 3/10 scale. Don't know if he made plans available.

I think they are in belgium.
Put the final touches on the rear end. The center section was completed by cutting a clearance on the bottom so the mounting hardware could be inserted through the holes. The oil fill plug was...
A little update on the car.
I couldn't make heads or tails of the gears as far as the exact placements of the cuts with the custom cutters. I fully understand the article and what is supposed to...
No holes. Air has to pass around the piston.
Finally had a chance to get something done. Made the wheelie bars They are an exact copy of some bars i found on the web.

Well i found myself with a day off from work so i made a pair of rear shocks. They are basically just like an RC shock except all brass instead of plastic. I couldn't find springs close enough to...
