Hello, were you ever able to get your parameters? I seem to be in the same boat now
Check out the new Cubex from 3D Systems too. Looks pretty impressive for the money and options. I think they are rolling out next month.....
Hello All, I just purchased a used 3dDigital Escan scanner and am in need of the RealScan USB software for it. I have tried to contact 3dDigital but because it an older generation scanner they refuse...
I am in the process of talking to Mighty service techs but not sure how that is gonna go, depends on if they can dig up the program or not....
But in the meantime, for anyone that has one of these...
Hmmmm....As far as I know the Mighty Viper (late 90s?) was the next generation VMC after the Comet. I have never seen that name Hartford on anything on my machine but it is worth taking another look....
Forgot to mention, the mill is also known as a Mighty Comet, I probably should have added this in the title....
Thank you also. As far as the M codes go, I don't have the manual with me at the moment, but I think I'll be able to figure them out. Someone also posted the M codes and what they do on their Mighty...
Thanks, I will check these links out. As far as the fixed cycles on the eeprom, I was able to do that and got all my canned cycles back. But no tool change program unfortunately.
It's interesting...
And here is how to find it: Access machine parameters, which is going to diagnosis screen, press the PLC I/F soft key. Then type in the following Device (1001) Data ( ) Mode (M) press input, they...
Make that program O9020 not O9890.....
Did anyone get anywhere with this program? I am having the same issue and need the same toochange program. Can anybody help me out?
Hello all, my 1993 Mighty VMC-510P with the Meldas 320 just took a crap and I had to reinitialize the control, put all the parameters back, and format the memory. In doing so the toolchange...
Did you ever get your machine running? I am in desperate need of the tool change program, O9890, as mine just got erased in the control. Can you help me out?
I have a VMC510P and can give you the parameters from it if that will help. I am looking for the tool change program, should be program O9890 in the control, would you happen to have that??? Mine got...
Does anyone know the fix for the previous post? I also tried to do the format but am getting E10 "Memory Over"
Interesting....can you tell me which parameters? I definitely want to do this.....I own the machine but it's in my buddies shop, he's new to CNC and wants to learn it. But I really don't want him...
1) Well that's an accident waiting to happen but I'll have to get used to reloading the program after I edit!
3) I think I'm on the right track but I will probably start a new thread on this one...
So I have a few more questions and am hoping you guys can answer them as well. Ok here goes, I'll start with the easy one (I think).....
1)I've noticed that when editing a program, after you quit...
You guys rock! Thanks for the replies, can't wait to give it a try.
I have a few more questions on this lathe I'm hoping you can help me with. When I get a chance I'll throw them out here.
When you say shift zero I assume you mean use the G50? Either way I need some method of a counter so I don't eventually shift zero into the chuck. So I would assume that would be some sort of macro...
Thanks for the quick reply.
1) Crap, that is really stupid....but I'm obviously not the only one that feels this way. So there are no G-codes that can override the feed? (I thought someone had...
Hey guys, I just purchased an Okuma Crown lathe w/the OSP7000 control on it. I have run a bunch of different makes but Okuma is new to me. I have 2 basic questions that I can't find the answers too...
Well, I am back with an update. First off, I wanted to thank Steven for his help, he is great to deal with. I bought the system from him and am back up and running (yay). I swapped the Yaskawa boards...
Hmmm, going to need some more info to see if this is the same system, looks close but also different....email sent
Hello all, I have a Mighty vertical CNC mill, very similiar to a Haas or Fadal, and am entertaining the idea of retrofitting a different control. It currently has a Yaskawa/Yasnac CIMR servo system...
On a side note, did we scare Steve away? lol
I don't see how the manufacturer would be to blame. They chose a control that was the same brand as the rest of the system and I'm sure they didn't just pick it out of the blue, they had to consult...
No pics at the moment but it is a Mighty USA C42 vertical mill. It's a decent built mill, comparable to a Haas or Fadal...I have no complaints about the Yaskawa servo system it has, pretty decent...
I trash the system because I currently own it and have had nothing but problems from the getgo. The one tech at Yaskawa who is the most familiar with the PCNC knows me on an individual basis from all...
Steve, it's me again. Unfortunately I just found out I fried one of the main Yaskawa boards from the JFC10 unit. If you get anywhere with your retrofit and decide to sell within the next week or so...
