i have an x1 i converted to "L" spec and cnc'd /fitted belt...

swathing
copy paste save in notepad
in turbo cnc it'll read .txt files/.cnc ,dunno about mach tho

it can be suprising what you can build with so little
i was impressed with my first build (1/2"plastic sheet, threaded rod and silver steel)
getting optimum cutting stratagies is sometimes the key...
yup as stiff as you can make it,brace everything you can
how big a cut are you trying to take ?
i'd look at your y axis trucks dont seem to be a lot of rigidity there
maybee double the number of...
you can use a merge to do that create 2 lines running the same direction
in merge call the top line 0 and the bottom line say -10 then play around with the options see what happens
cheap simple coupler = bit of plastic flexy fuel pipe the clear woven stuff and 2 jubilee
clips or worm drive hose clips as their called over there
work well for a first build
then buy some...
remember you can allways use the first build ,assuming it works ,to re manufacture
the suspect bits
the machine re-bulids it's self ......
looking good ,get it built ....
