As I look at the design i think the premade cylinder mount is going to be the week point especially with only 1 end supported. I will likely fabricate the riser block and mount out of one solid...

I am not going...

Sorry I should have been more clear. I would like to put it on linear rails. My first thought was an air cylinder to push it in and out. If you wanted to get very fancy you could also put a...
I have a super mini 2 and I am finding myself not using the tool setter alot in order to use the max travels of the machine on my fixture. From the controls perspective how hard would it be to...

Have a haas SMM2 ordered getting my ducks in a row. Ordered a American Rotary ADX30. I am really taken aback by the min wire size for the 3 Phase inverter.
American rotary states that the...
One other note is that as part of the fixturing of this job after the holes are tapped I need to take the pallet off the table and put screws through the back side of the pallet before the final...

Yea if you look in my post history it's in there. I really just hate how the doors slide on a peice of pipe for tormach. And the price is a bit ridiculous I think.

You have to run the config program. Select the profile of the machine (series 3 atc etc etc), then at the bottom is a drop down.
Orrrrrr
If you know how to use ports and pins config in...

I agree with mountain dew. Consider how you will get it on and off. It is a real batch to get the 8 in super spacer on and off.

I use the 8 inch super saver. It is more pricey but I think it's worth it. Not using the atc is not an option in my mind. Also I needed the larger through hole of the 8". I hate buying...
FYI you can adjust your limit switches and gain about an inch of travel typically. My fixtures are the same size and I can clean off all the sides with a 3/8 end mill.

Interesting. What does that cost? My first thought is how much does that thing weigh. And my next comment would be there is no way it would work on the left side of a tormach table with atc...

I do like the chick but I just got it and will have to use it before I pass further judgement. Only reason I got it is because someone fairly local was selling it for $300 and it's never been used. ...
