Sorry to hear you haven’t been getting support from SC America
When I needed it Jacob was always helpful.
I think I’ll take your input. Since I’m on Windows 7 I’ll just try to use it...
Hi
Any Tormach users using Sprutcam, have you had any issues using your licenses or getting support with the Ukrainian war and Russian sanctions?
I haven’t fired my Sprutcam since the war started...
Below is good advice
I would dress what others have said about knowing what you are going to make first. I was a novice at Cnc and I needed to make parts that could only be done in a 4th axis....
I need a couple as well.
Mine is limping along.
I’ve searched and can’t find any for sale. I’m starting to look at making my own from liquid level from McMaster-Carr
Yes, I hope so too. I’ll keep all the tubing and find a gauge that will accept the 1/4” vinyl tubing. I need to find one I can open and clean since the way oil tends to collect in it and gum things...
Terrific &
Thanks
I bought a coolant gauge off eBay 5 years ago and need to replace it. It is the kind that has a cylinder that fills with the coolant to show the level.
I checked eBay and Tormach and there are no...
I went through 3 superflys
They left a nice finish but inevitably would catch an edge and spin in the collet Or bend their arm enough to be toast
I ended up getting a Mari tool 3.25” 6-tooth face...
I think you are right. If I’m not mistaken the TM-1p can be run off residential 220volt power making it a good option for folks working out of their garages.
Wish the 4th axis was not so expensive...
Most of my engraving is on mild steel. I tried the v-points but I found the Kyocera 1/32” 4-fl Bn stub endmills work the best for me and holds up longer than v-points.
Plus the edges are not as...
I think the there must be accountants with a more prominent decision making role to make Tormach as profitable as possible.
I look at what I paid a year ago for replacement parts and See an...
The price increase happened last year before the tariff war
Yes, this was the event I was remembering. Wow, Tormach’s prices sure have jumped. They use to be competitively priced on all of their tooling for example that I use to buy most of my stuff from...
Ok, thanks.
I thought I saw a general sale last year.
anyone know when Tormach has across the board sales?
Do they do Black Friday or other discount days?
I have some backup equipment (like a backup coolant pump) I plan to get but am n no rush....
I tried calling you but your mailbox is full
Thanks
Nathan
Recently I was distracted while using my haimer to locate a part and someone asked me a question and when I turned around I accidentally hit return and the haimer headed for my 4th axis. I stupidly...
I thought the free fusion was very limited on it 4th axis capabilities. Has that changed?
That is one thing I like about SC
Thanks
QUOTE=sansbury;2288178]I wouldn't tell anyone who’s happy...
I’ve used mine a few times and it works. It is the inexpensive kind that you see for sale at MSC but Tormach has added a tts to it.
The tts is not a very rigid setup so you will want to drill or...
Wow, beautiful rc boat parts Popspipes. Cool you could make those on a Tormach.
The Tormach has allowed me to bootstrap my business and learn a ton without damaging a more expensive machine.
I...
Great news
Make some cool parts!
I was thinking more like a motorcycle vs a small pickup
I love my Tormach and it got me going but once you need the speed, accuracy and reliability, you see the value in a more professional...
I have done thousands of 6-32 thread milling
I don’t know if I would go much less though
I started out wit a tc but went to thread milling 5 years ago and haven’t looked back. It seems perfect for the Tormach
No offense intended. You would make a good Sprutcam instructor.
Lane,
If I remember right, you are the one who was offering tutorial for Sprutcam, not me.
If so, I would be interested in buying your dongle if it is an all-post version and sc8 or newer.
If it legitimate Sprutcam America can transfer the title.
Thanks
Nathan

I would thing for gunsmith work, you will get into 4th axis work. Can you give the OP insights into how well fusion 360 does with 4th axis? Last I checked it was not very advanced yet but maybe that...
