Yep, you have it all figured out. My hero! You must be associated with the company.
I'm finished with this thread...the machine is gone.
I was told at least twice in emails and twice on the phone that this machine could be running in 12 - 16 hours. And never building a machine, I took Cory's word for it and reviewing their website...
My post was vague because it was just to see if there was interest enough to actually list it for sale with all of the particulars. After all, there are only a couple of configurations available. The...
Although I have received quite a few messages about this machine, I'm a little surprised at the lack of responses. This to me, is an indicator that I should have done much more research on this brand...
I thought I would check for any interest on our CRP4848 machine before listing it.
It's brand new and needs finished assembly. We just don't have time for this, we are looking at other brands.
I just assembled my extrusion early this week and it was less than 1/16" out of square. I don't see any way of getting it perfect without a lot of work with shims. The corner brackets pretty much...
After talking to Cory, he sent a new acme screw and bearing block. Hopefully this fixes the problem. Thanks Cory!
Well.... it appears that the bearing in the bearing block, doesn't even fit over the screw. I tried flipping the block over and it will not fit.
I'm starting to wish I would have spent the extra...
Now, per instructions, I can not get the bearing block over the acme screw. It binds between the collar and the bearing block.
Any help? Thanks!
If you watch the video, he uses calipers to determine that the bumpers are the same length while mounted. I did the same thing and without any further adjustment, they all touch perfectly after...
nlancaster... I owe you a huge thank you!
I was skeptical, but I got it. I did like in the video and loosened everything and clamped the carriages against the front bumpers. I finger-tightened a...
Thanks for the video. The only thing I didn't do, is clamping the risers to stay stationary. I did only shim the one riser, but it looks like in the video, he only shimmed the one half of the riser....
There isn't any movement on the carriages. It has slots for the bolts, so it centers itself.
I shimmed the side of the gantry that hit the bumpers only, to the maximum that the bolt length allows,...
I'm building the standard 4848.
In the tips and tricks on their website, it says to use shims between the riser and the gantry to shim for square.
I checked my base and table after assembling them...
Sorry, I don't have Rhino3D, but in Vectric, there is a select duplicate vectors option. Use that and delete. I'm sure you have something similar.
That looks nice. I was thinking of using the extrusion for my table and I might use that design. Clean and simple.
How ridged is it? Is there any flex?
From my understanding of the Vectric site, any design can be saved as a CRV file and be used when I receive the paid version of the software. I have the tool paths saved and they should be able to be...
Here are a few more I've worked on. I'm having fun learning the software and am looking forward to putting these onto something.

Thanks Ger.
I realize I can't cut with the trial version, but when I order my machine, the software will be part of the purchase. I have been saving my designs so when I get everything, I can try...
I'm new to the cnc world and before purchasing a machine, I have been trying the trial version of VCP.
This is a sign I came up with, but since I don't have a machine yet, I am unable to verify...
Would something like these work?
Router Bits
Another One
You are in the CNC router parts section. Why not use their parts or a complete package from them? They have everything you need in one place.
Thanks CarveOne! Doing much more reading.
102 views and there are no opinions or advice? I'm sure I read somewhere on this site that there were many people with these machines.
Hello to all!
I'm new to the cnc world and I'm looking for a good machine to get started.
I have been reading here among other places and saw reference to CNCRouterParts. I looked through their...
