Sorry I missed your question. I was lucky and the machine came with a stitch regulator so that made it easy to solve your issue. The device basically controls the speed of the sewing machine motor...
Nice job. I have a pile of those motors. They work well for all sorts of motion projects. I like em.

I went with a 10hp Phase Perfect. Costly $3500. But worth it. Only draws 4 amps at machine idle. Hangs on the wall. Quite. Love it. Wife is happy. Robodrill is happy.

Did you ever get this working. I have the same problem.
thanks,
Donny
Sounds like the CRT is failing. I would suggest ordering in a PCMCIA card. Well worth the money.
You top status lights say that the CPU is not running yet. You could have a bad memory card. You...
Did you replace the battery with the machine on? You have to do that. Did you try and go back to the old battery? Maybe wrong voltage causing issue.
Did you back up all your settings with a PCMCIA...
For software I use Adobe Illustrator to vectorize an image and create a single line vector and export to dxf. Then I put in into Vectric Aspire to clean up the vectors and smooth them out. If I want...
Mike,
Thanks for the information. My encoders are 2500 line. My AC Servo drives will take +/- 10v or Step and Direction. I will be using a Smooth Stepper for now since I had one laying around. It...
If you hold P and Cancel on power up you should be able to jog with the hand wheel.
Do you have absolute encoders. (red cap motors) If so make sure you have good batteries for them. Only change...
CS labs. Never heard of them. Might need to look them up. I will need to have a index pulse on my spindle so I can home it and then use it to rotate the tool holder. Still not sure how I am going to...
Not sure if this wil help but you can try:
Zero Return parameter setting procedure for Fanuc 16/18 and 16i/18i Controls
Move the axis to where you think zero return should be. If you can't...
That's kinda what I thought. Since it say moves 1/4" every rev it would never know where exactly it is. It could take 20 revs to get to home or take 1. I'll just put new switches on there or relocate...
I picked up a cute little VMC 100 a couple weeks ago with 14 tool holders 2 vices and no controller. The machine is is pristine shape.
I plan to swap out the 5 phase steppers for some servos I...
Here is a pic of the second quilted project from the machine. This is a 32" x 25" panel of some horses. I created a vector with cowboy hats, a cowboy on a horse and a cowgirl leading a horse. Then...
I have built a few machines over the last few years. A couple CNC routers, a couple CNC lathes. A couple 3D printers and even a few multi axis camera heads and slides. But this is my first Quilting...
If you have the Operator manual for your machine it should state what motor and what parameters to set. At least my old 16mb control for my Robodrill Operator manual does. If its not in there look in...
Wow. 11 years ago I started this thread. Not very many people in North Idaho. Thought I would resurrect it to see if anyone new showed up. I have seen a few Mach 3 machines get sold on Craigslist up...
Methods Machine Tools can get you the manual. Jessica Vigneaux [email protected] I bought a 10TB earlier this year with Fanuc 16mb control and lost all the parameters. It did not have...

Good luck,

I have parameters in PDF format from machines made in Feb 1995 and June 1995. They should be close enough to get you up and running. There will be some differences in your machine but should be close...
I just went through a very similar problem with a Robodrill A-T10B with 16mb control. And I had non of the Parameters to put back in. I had the 910 error so I bought a Sram card with hopes to back up...
Can't believe no one has had experience with setting up parameters for different offset memory's. i.e. A,B,C

I replaced my whole 8.4" lcd for $49 on a 16m control last month. IF its the 8.4 they were made by sharp and used in laptops of that era. Took about 10 minutes to change and 9 screws I think. Was...
I managed to get my 1995 a-T10B Robodrill with 16mb control back up and running after it lost all its parameters with no backups. Now I am having some conflicting screen information when it comes to...

Spent all my money on a nice old Robodrill. Turned out it had a bad LCD monitor. $49 later and that part works great. The day before the new screen arrived the SRAM messed up and lost all the...
Just an update. Problem solved. Took it apart and discovered the LCD part is made by Sharp. $49 later I had a brand new screen and it works great. To bad I lost all the parameters the day before. But...
Nope I had tried that already. Sometimes when I turn it on its mostly readable other times it never clears up so I have to cycle power till it somewhat straightens up.
What is the key sequence for...
I just acquired a 1995 Fanuc Robodrill T10B with 16mb controls. It has a 8.4" LCD that has issues. When turn on the machine the right side of the screen is pink. The left side looks good. After 5 min...
