Here's something I didn't mention before.

I get a message about the PCI when I boot Centroid. Here it is:

PCI driver not loaded, checking for legacy card
Dual port base address =...

My membrane keyboard on my M400S quit working. I've tried several things to get it working again without any success:

- Replaced with new membrane keyboard ($650 - ouch)
- Pulled daughter board...

I'm having some trouble using the pop-up keyboard (Alt-J) on my Centroid. I need to use it as I'm having trouble with the M400S membrane keyboard (jog panel), which will be the subject of another...

The improved mid-band resonance and increased torque at higher speeds are intriguing. I've had these problems on my CNC lathe with Pacific Shientific controllers , and this might help the problem.
