Hello,
I would be VERY grateful for ANY help, please.
We have a Bridgeport VMC1000.22 which has lost it's machine parameters.
We have some of them, but not all, not sure why, but the last repair...
Hello,
Yes, "embarrassed face", I had forgotten we were on about DDS's!
I was thinking about Ecodrives, sorry.
THe software we used to use for DDS via serial was DDS2PC, it is a terminal...
Sysda 1.1 is firmware/hardware, so it's not available unless you buy the "box" from Bosch Rexroth.
If you are going RS232 you need a suitably wired RS232 cable, and DriveTop, which IIRC is a free...
Rastaban,
The part number of the SERCANS/SYSDA box is R911277969.
I have asked actually and it is available on the open market, but it was to special order and over 1k GBP I think.
Not sure if it...
Where in the UK are you?
That's fine I was sat in front of the computer anyway.
Good luck, there may be others here that can help, if you describe your issues.
Hello,
Unfortunately the job did not come off, the customer kicked us into touch after we had done all the ground work, and before placing the actual order!
Sorry, I can't help specifically.
I've never used a pilot with those sort of screws and use them a LOT, but, never in CNC machines, always in hand held drill/drivers.
Could be that the switches which initiate these faults are all in series and the Z axis switch has failed in the operated position after the Z axis hit it?
It looks like I've been volunteered to fit a 4th axis to the machine above, not something I've ever done before, not sure if I can wriggle out of it either!
I've a lot of machine tool experience,...
laka,
Thank you for this, a colleague went to the customer the following day, followed the same procedure I was doing, & the machine referenced OK!
I was aligning the reference marks first etc. but...
Do you have a "button" to implement a manual lube cycle?
The machine may be looking for a successful lube cycle to have been completed before you can cancel the fault, which I suspect is PMC...
Rastaban,
You will need to use the Sercos connections to run the drive & motor through Drivetop, this will mean you need a Sercos interface @ your computer.
I don't know if these are available on...
Is this on the Windows log in, or in the Indramat software?
Hello all,
Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on a peculiar problem on a Sabre I'm looking at.
When the reference cycle is started the control shuts down almost immediately with...
Thanks TC, I had heard of this issue before & had burred up the Oldhams to the extent that they needed levering out of the motor with a small screwdriver & the encoder was a good tug to get off also....
Sorry, managed to fix without having to back up!
Limit switch jammed with swarf at the back of the machine which I had not been able to check, after a long tiring day!
Thanks.
As I said in OP the innards of the motor seemed fine.
They both ran fine on bench d.c. power supply.
I have actually now got the machine running.
I took both motors off the machine they are...
Help please, anyone.
I need to back up the parameters on a very old Fanuc 0T-A system, older than I have worked on before.
Could anyone please advise a procedure?
Thanks in advance.
Control & power voltages ok.
Jog is not smooth with suspect motor on original axis.
Both motors are identical & have been swapped.
Fault moves with motor, but then displays as vibration when...
Hi,
Newbie here, and surprise I'm pleading for help!
Help please.
Working on a JNC sliding head 2 axis CNC lathe with barfeed.
