Yeah, it's for the spindle.
Seems to be operating to specs in the manual now. I adjusted a parameter.

I have a ST30 lathe and I've recently jumped up the lubrication pumps on the machine to get more oil flowing to the spindle bearings.
This worked and I saw that the lube oil level go down and the...
I used to work for them, and never heard of a spindle gearbox failing.
Were they crashed hard in "Z"?
What exactly happened?
That is a Mitsubishi controller. Contact them for the parameter setting needed.
The G310 has to do with the tailstock positioning macro that's factory installed.
GREAT!!
Many thanks!
How do I get it to loop back and run another part?
In other words, repeat a program until the part count threshold is reached?
Anyone know how to set a part counter on a Hyundai HiT 18S with Hitrol (Siemens) CNC?
Thanks!
Have you tried M12/M13?
Sounds like a stuck valve or perhaps a prox switch
Helical is standard from Doosan, but the Polar isn't made for that.
There is a utility in the control that will show what is wrong in the spindle.
If it's just a temp sensor or prox switch, it's a simple affair.
One reason your boss may not want anyone touching it,...
I don't think the machine can do what you want it to without a Y axis.
Polar interp is for the milling of non round shapes on the front (snout) of a part.
It has limited value elsewhere.
Perhaps design/make your improved ejector end and sell back to Doosan?
As you probably know, they've just been bought out (again) so the new owners might lend an ear.
You may have a wiped out pump.
But, check breakers and fuses in the rear cabinet first.
Check for blown fuses.
Also, make sure none of those push button breakers are popped.
OK.
It shouldn't come up during automatic operation.
Make sure that none of the ATC switches are in manual mode, including the manual ATC release button.
Make sure the ATC door is fully closed as...
OK, to run from Memory card is easy.
On the card, the program should be "O1000" with NO file extensions.
Program on the card should have a "%" above the O1000 and a "%" below the M30.
On the CNC...
Go to Channel 2 parameter settings and make sure the I/O is set to "4."
Even better. Much of it had to do with a court case in the aftermath of the Toshiba scandal. The Russians had specified Kongsberg controllers on the machines and when inspected they were in "three...
Fanuc will not allow it. It must be run from internal memory, PC card, data server, or LAN/RS-232 drip feed.
It does have the option. Expensive, like around $15k, but it can be done.
Try manually moving the X axis way down on the travel, then move the Y way down. Make sure the turret is clear of both spindles.
Then, home Y first, then X.
Found the issue - finally.
Haas bar feed parameters are on a sticker located on the feeder itself. Problem solved.
If you don't have documentation, call Doosan in Pine Brook, NJ.
I'm having trouble with my Haas Servo 300 bar feed.
It's attached to an SL20 lathe.
Up to a few weeks ago, it was running fine, but now when the pusher rises to allow a bar to drop into the...
Call Doosan (formerly Daewoo) in Pine Brook NJ. Manuals and diagrams are recorded. They can tell you who your distributor is and it's not that expensive. It will save you A LOT of headaches.
Ok, if there are cycles in there, there has to be documentation. Check your Doosan (not Fanuc) operator's manual.
I'm not sure that button is live or not on Lynx.
The "P" word is essential. If you wanted to stop the main spindle, it would be "M5 P11."
OK, so there should be a macro to auto set the tools.
I'm wondering if it isn't already hiding in the CNC's memory someplace.
Fanuc 32? 31? i?
Look in the directories, there may be one.
Darryl Hardt is the one.
Sounds like its lost its orientation.
I think it's an easy fix.
Email him - [email protected] - tell him I sent you.
The machine will not index the turret or rapid traverse, if the tool setter is activated and in the down position.
Does your Puma have the motorized tool setter?
