    Re: Plans for CNC Mill

Your question is quite generic, so it hard for people to answer.
When you change one item then you tend to reevaluate every other item.

How much torque depends on factors like the lead screws...

    Re: GCode Error

I put your "router mount 2 nc.txt" file into Mach3 and it worked fine for me.
I had to change the Config settings to Distance Mode=Absolute and IJ Mode = Inc for it to display correctly.

    Check...

    Hi Brian,

    Re: 3D cut problem

Perhaps try cutting a flat surface and see if you also get similar results.
Can you step through the code (in mach3) and see the tool path dipping and rising at the waves? Then you will know it is...

Re: defects to make a circle

I don't use ArtCAM pro, but have made 3D displaying software.

I assume you are talking about what you are seeing on the screen. Not what you see in the G Code generated.

    Re: Maintenance Of CNC Router

"Machine with a long boot will send touch sound machine" this sentence does not make sense. What type of CNC router are you talking about. What manufacturer and what model?

Re: How to get more accuracy

Test gantry for movement by grabbing one side of the gantry and try pushing it. Also try pushing the router or bit. If you have any movement you will have problems.
