If you have problems loosing vacuum when using mdf or ldf thru the edge, edge band it or put tape over the edge.
MDF makes a good spoil board, if you use 1/2" or 3/4" you can rout slots into the board not all the way thru, drill holes in the slots this way you get vacuum rite where you want it.

How about 2 passes do tabs on the first pass, than cut tabs on the second pass. and also you might try contact cement. Are you using a down shear cutter I find that helps hold parts in place
Try using tabs, rout thru in some ares and not others and clean them up by hand. make tabs as thin as you can and you may be able to snap them off clean
the dxf i have is the same as ger21's

TV (the number of characters in a block is odd). this alarm will be generated only when the TV check is effective.
I would pilot hole both parts the edge of mdf might split if you don’t. I would use a deep thread wood screw.
