P.S. Thats what we get for transfering a program ran on a 18i control to a Ot.
I have a lathe with a Ot control that gives a ps10 alarm at this line in the program;

There was not supposed to be a module in the crt slot....it is on another option card. Someone put the PMC module in the crt slot on the main card leaving no PMC module?? Just what we were told. :)
Turns out that the pmc module was in the crt slot. DUH!! Someone must have swapped them somewhere in the troubleshooting.
Called Fanuc in for that.
I have 2 Mori MSC-501 controls that I can't get the SRAM backed up. It tells me "memory card mount error". What does this mean? I can't find a card slot inside the control cabinet?
Thanks

I am no expert, but Rapid backlash is for rapid moves. Backlash alone is for cutting movement, and what you will need to keep set for good parts.
If I remember right, this maxes out the soft overtravel limits so machine can jog farther in the direction of overtravel letting it home. O series control parameters for overtravel are 700 thur 702...

Are you getting any alarms after the attempt to home the z-axis?

Thanks, that helps. I am getting the company to buy me the cf card and adapter to just do sram backups soon... :)
